About BeatForge

BeatForge is a free browser-based music mixing game. Drag sound icons onto the 7 characters, layer up to 7 sounds into a beat, and switch between 4 visual themes (Lo-Fi Chill, Cyber Punk, 8-Bit Retro, Cosmic Space).

When you are happy with your mix, you can:

• Download it as an MP4 video (30-second loop with audio)
• Publish it to the Mix Plaza so other players can listen and like
• Try anyone's published work with the "Try" button - their configuration loads into your play page

What we don't do

BeatForge is intentionally minimal. There is no account, no comments, no follower system, no AI generation, no paid features, no tracking. Your state is local to the browser until you choose to publish it. Likes are deduplicated server-side by IP hash and you can't like twice from the same browser.

Tech

Zero external assets. All sound is generated procedurally with the Web Audio API. All visuals are pure CSS + SVG. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages + Workers + D1.
